No Comic Day
Nothing I wanted this week.
Work was okay, a little heavier and later than usual. Not only was it a new driver (hence the lateness), but one of the guys doing the 'not part of my job' part wasn't there, so they asked me to help out (for extra pay of course). Hustled and got the job done in pretty good time anyway, and the driver seemed really impressed at our speed. He'd wanted to get out before traffic and/or storms hit and didn't think he would. We usually get compliments on our work - apparently we're much faster than most other stores, but it's always nice to hear it again.
In other news, my grandmother is doing better now, thanks for the well-wishes. She's at home, with a wheelchair and a walker and is (stubbornly) able to get around short distances (like to the bathroom and back) without help, but we're still making sure somebody's with her at almost all times until they take the cast off. Luckily we've got a big family.
