To be honest, I'd rather see Mac in another movie than watch her on VM. Watching her play a stereotypical two dimensional sidekick seems like a waste of her acting talent. I feel the same way about Kristen Bell, but at least she's the lead in the series. Sometimes it feels like the guy who plays VM's dad (and the photographer in Just Shoot Me) is the only one who can pull off a complex character without having to ham it up with melodramatic dialogue.
