I tried this and these were my answers that were different than yours:

A metal container to carry a meal in: pan (I had no idea what they were getting at; I agree they're usually plastic)
Carbonated, sweetened, non-alcoholic beverages: soda
The piece of clothing worn by men at the beach: swimsuit
Shoes worn for sports: tennis shoe
The little insect that curls up into a ball: rolly pollies
How you eat pizza: with your hands


And I agree about BSG. Good, but nothing really worthy of meta-ing on.
