But, see, that's the thing. Straight time travel IS STILL SCI-FI. It doesn't have to be any more "educational" than the historical Who episodes that _have_ an alien menace. It can just be a great story that happens to use the past as a backdrop, without aliens trying to take over or destroy the world. I just think it would be nice to get a little more variety in the stories.
