The first sign of spring is not the lengthening days, or the melting snow, or even shifting the clocks ahead one hour. No, the first true sign of spring is me getting my annual haircut. I am now almost clean-cut looking.

In other news, I've been watching Drive, the new FOX series starring Nathan Fillion, about a secret illegal cross-country road race. If LOST was Survivor turned into a drama, then this is The Amazing Race. I'm honestly not sure if I like it or not. I go equal parts 'cool' and 'this is lame' at different time. But I'm leaning slightly more towards 'like', so I'll keep watching it.

(Canadians get the premiere tonight, but is starts in the US on Sunday night).

I like that analogy. Drive is the Amazing Race but in a drama form and, I'm sure, much better.

Yeah, I'm liking it, too. Kinda hard not to like it: Nathan Fillion and Tim Minear. But it's the characters that interest me more than the driving. Naturally I'm rooting for Alex, but the father/daughter team have a storyline full of potential interest. And the mother; I was thinking she could shoot the annoying lady in the foot or something. :-D

Ooh, I wonder what time it's on tonight. I'm planning on going out, so I might miss it. :(

And it's not spring here yet. We've had three days straight of new snow. :(

I don't know that it's on tonight anywhere (although maybe your local channel was different). CTV aired it Friday, Fox airs it tomorrow from 8-10 EST.

And it's been a bit chilly here too, but rest assured, the haircut says the spring is indeed on its way!
