Rejected

Oh well. I was doing my best not to get my hopes up, and I can't say I was surprised. Still hurts though, of course, to finally get confirmation. But, the only hope is to press on.

Well, at least you tried and that's a start. Just keep trying; there's a magazine out there just waiting to snatch up your stuff. :-)

Thanks. Here's hoping that's true. Or at least that I eventually learn to write better stuff.

I'm sorry. Rejection in all forms sucks. You were brave enough to put yourself out there though and that's what you've got to continue to do. You'll find someone who properly appreciates your writing. I just know it.

Thanks. I'll keep trying, just needed a day or two to lick my wounds, so to speak.

Bad luck mate. Was it a one-place-only submission or could you shop it around?

Oh, I'll be sending it out to other places. Alas, unfortunately most SF story markets at least only let you submit to one at a time, so until I get a few more stories fully edited to a point I'm prepared to let it go, it'll be a slow process of sending it to one place after another and waiting.

Aww that sucks. :( It's good that you tried though and next time who knows? :D
