Class Stuffs
Oct. 26th, 2004 06:32 pmWell, I got my first assignment back from my class. C. Now, that might not sound good, but really, I wasn't really even expecting to pass. I hate Eiffel (the programming language we have to use) with the fiery passion of a thousand suns, and, in fact, for that whole assignment, although I coded in Eiffel, I did not once use the compiler or attempt to run it once I started programming. Basically I just said 'screw it' and hoped my design elements would get me a passing mark.
Last week I got my test back, and on that I got an A+. Really, I think I'm at a point that if it wasn't for one small thing, I'd just take the tests and blow off the assignments completely - unfortunately, that little thing is a requirement that you not only have a passing grade for your test average, but also that you have a passing grade for your assignment average. Still, this is supposed to be my last class, so I don't really care if I get a good mark for it or not. So, I'll take the C and hope I can at least get decent marks on the other two assignments - so far I'm still leaning towards not running my Eiffel program at all on the assignment I'm working on.
