Academic Ponderings...
Mar. 7th, 2004 10:34 amOkay, so I've been looking it over. And, at first glance, I can graduate if I get one more course after this year (it also happens to be the course I dropped this term. Yay me. Oh well). And I might be able to take that over the summer, focus exclusively on it, and pass.
It won't be graduating the 'honors program' like I initially planned. It'd just be a general Bachelor of Science- Computer Science, though.
That would probably take me at least another year, maybe more.
But I'd be done. With a good deal of money left over to find an apartment of my own, move out, and have a good reservoir until I find some nothing job and live the rest of my life alone. That came out a little more bitter and angsty than I intended. I've discovered over the past few weeks of pondering that I rather want to do this. Well, okay, sure, I'd like to have a job that's not a 'nothing job'. But my own place I can start... well, not feeling like a guest, or a mooch.
Yeah, no honors program. But, considering I've been toying with the idea of just moving out anyway and dropping out of the rest of my education, I think that's the way I'm going to go. If, of course, the course if offered in the summer.
