Ch-ch-ch-changes.
May. 23rd, 2004 09:15 pmSo, my dad's house, the house I lived in for about 5-6 years before moving here.
I'm not disappointed or anything.. it's a good thing, certainly, they needed to sell it. I'm just a bit bemused at the speed of change. Things that only a year ago I sort of took for granted would be there, won't. As of August, there won't be a house near my work I can pop into for a few minutes to rest and chat. In a few more months, I'll no longer be a university student. I've already moved into my new place. It just seems like when things change, they change all of a sudden and completely, such that things are almost unrecognizable. And yet they are, since there's a certain sameness to things, to how I feel in the world.
On a completely unrelated note, it's raining, and thumber looms in the distance. Woo.
