You know when you've either never played a game before or haven't played it in quite a while, and you get really into it to the point where you play for hours at a time? And when you can't even sleep because when you try your mind is still playing the game? That first happened to me with Tetris, but lately it's been Zuma sucking up my time and making it hard to sleep. Curse you, Zuma! Really it's sucked up most of my productive time the last few days, which is in part because I didn't feel much like writing and so boredom set in and a nearly mindless repetitive task of shooting colored balls at other colored balls was just the thing. (I did manage _some_ writing, here and there, but not like I wanted and pretty much all the useless variety).

Fox has started recapping some of their returning shows by doing reruns so I've been watching them, getting excited for Sarah Connor Chronicles again, and even Prison Break (yes, it's horrible, awful crack, but it's horrible awful crack you can't pull yourself away from because you have to see what cracktacular thing they'll try to pull next).

Okay, I happened to accidentally see a little tiny bit of Olympics coverage on the news (I'm still under 1 minute, I believe), and I have to say... in a swimming competition, do you really need a big line across the screen following the progress of the lead swimmer? Even if it is a recap thing and not done live (don't know, don't care), I think it's obvious enough by itself without needing help. Sheesh, what next, they'll put a blue glow around a puck on hockey?

Also, I think it was right for China to replace the ugly little girl in their opening ceremonies. There, I said it. (but no, I'm not serious)
