New Comic Day + Work Foo!
Mar. 1st, 2006 03:48 pmThis week I got 5 books:
Outsiders #34 (not bad but I'm not interested enough to keep buying)
New Excalibur #5 (big fight issue, okay)
Ultimates 2 #10 (a bit of a letdown from the last issue - still pretty cool, but a bit too over the top for my tastes)
Untold Tales of the New Universe: Star Brand #1 (really disappointing, at least as an 'untold tale'. So misses the point.)
X-Factor #4 (My Pick of the Week. Lots of fun, with great moments)
Full reviews are at my comic review site for anyone interested as usual.
For lunch I had that two double hamburgers for $2 thing at McD's. I was craving meat and McDonalds was the nearest thing to meat available. Dinner tonight will be Gyros! Or Donairs, actually, which I think are like Gyros but with a different name. Grocery-store-bought-prepare-at-home though. They were on sale. Hopefully they'll be gyroiffic though.
Work was actually not too bad. They got there really right when I did, and they hustled today so I got out quick.
Oh, and while I'm at it, cool link snagged from the BKV forums: Skeptics of The Force - The Jedi Religion is all a sham! Their powers are cheap parlour tricks! I think this is a case for SG1!
