newnumber6So, today was the first day since before summer that I wore my magic jacket (3rd incarnation). After such a long absence, I always realized how much I missed it. I don't feel quite complete when I'm outside of my home without my jacket. I feel almost naked. It is my armor from the outside world. It is my second skin. When (_If_, the rational part of my mind insists on clarifying, _if_) I fall through a dimensional portal and wind up in a fantasy worlds, I want to be wearing my jacket. Not the least of the reasons is because I have a full SAS Survival Handbook in one of the inside pockets. The jacket also proved its worth right away, generating enough random change to allow me to get a bag of chips. Yay, jacket!
