newnumber6Since it's fairly long, I'll leave it behind the cut tag.
Okay... basically had a dream that I was on the long walk I occasionally speak of. This is actually a first, I've never dreamed it before, and it's odd because I haven't really even been thinking of it lately. At any rate, I just packed up whatever I wanted in a bag, and just started walking. Living on the road. I recall noticing (from road markers indicating how much distance I travelled) that I wasn't makingas much time as I expected, but it didn't really bother me, just meant it'd take a little longer.
Somewhat more odd was that I went shirtless once or twice when it was particularly warm out, which would be unusual for me. (I should note that the dream had a big time compression factor).
At any rate, occasionally people along the way would talk to me for a while while I was in their area, but more often for some reason my family kept coming up and trying to talk me into stopping. I deflected it, because I wasn't planning on backing out once I'd already started. Finally, one night before it was getting dark since I was still in a city, I decided to stop somewhere for food. Somehow, while I was there something happened (maybe the food was drugged or something) and I was back at the beginning of the journey. I was faintly annoyed and think I planned just on going back out again, but I woke up.
Mostly, anyway. I tried going back to sleep but my mind kept drifting onto the dream, focusing on different parts, so I couldn't get fully back to sleep for a while either. When I did, that last dream tainted my subsequent ones... I dreamed I was in a hospital... but as a result of something (unspecified) that happened while I was on my walk. A couple of other dreams that were related to that too (some in ways that didn't even make a lick of sense, but that's how dreams go).
Anyway, still all in all, a pretty interesting dream. The long walk isn't in my plans anytime soon, but it was nice to have a dream-filtered taste of it. :)
