Had an odd dream.

Started as a Firefly dream, specifically, from the episode 'The Train Job'. Except, this time around, something screwed up, and all the Alliance officers came in while the robbery was taking place. So, although me and another person got out and away (by jumping out of the moving train onto the ground), we knew we'd be wanted by the law, especially since some people died.

The person who escaped with me turned out to be Brian Michael Bendis. It was here that I sorta realized it was a dream, and so, if it was a dream, none of this really mattered. So, I took the opportunity to do a little experiment. I asked him what he'd do if I could make this never have happened, and he said anything... so I asked if he could set up a pitch meeting between me and Marvel comics. He said, of course.

I told him to... I figured, that I could try out my comic ideas on them... I knew it was just my subconscious, but at least my subconscious might give myself a fair hearing.

So, the meeting was setup, except when I did my first idea, for some reason I'd started with a joke, so they didn't quite get the whole premise. Still, though I tried to explain it to them, they figured it was a bit too close to something they already had in progress, and to New X-Men (even though its not quite, I attributed it to misunderstandings). So, I tried to call that one a loss, and move onto the next idea, but the people at the meeting had moved on to chit chat and gossip about their officemates. By the time I got their attention again to start on my next idea, I woke up. :P
