Serenity screenings
Jun. 9th, 2005 12:06 pmToronto tickets sold out already... tried to buy some but got a technical difficulties message until it was all sold out. Ah well.
There's a chance I can find someone on the Canadian browncoats list who's willing to give me an extra ticket (since lots bought extra for people who wouldn't be able to be online), but already the (figurative) voices in the back of my head are starting 'it's not worth trying, it'll just mean interacting with people you've never met before, be awkward, etc, etc, etc, not to mention to explaining to people you live with where you're going, just wait and see the movie in September'
I hate me.
EDIT: Okay, I bit the bullet before the doubts gained strength and asked on the Canadian browncoat list, since they were talking about people who bought extra just in case others needed them, and someone said they'd cover me for a ticket. I guess I'm going after all. Mixed feelings, but woo.
