New Comic Day + Work BLEHINESS

newnumber6First, New Comic Day. This week I got:
Gotham Central #36 (Disappointing ending to a good arc, but still my Pick of the Week)
Outsiders #29 (bit weaker than usual)
Uncanny X-Men #465 (bleh, don't know how long I can stand Claremont and Bachalo together)
X-Men Unlimited #11 (Fairly decent Rachel story, and a New Mutants story where they solicited a Iceman story... cool switch, but the story was only okay, with characters feeling off)

For lunch had a Whopper and a slice of charity subway pizza. As for work?
Bah. What work? I was there about between half an hour and an hour and then was told the truck was going to be AT LEAST 4 or 5 hours late. So I went home, of course. Now either:
1) I'll be called in a couple hours to go back.
2) I'll be called tomorrow to go back if it's _really_ late.
3) He'll get someone else to do it this week and I won't get paid for this one.
None of the three is very appealing (although if I had to choose, I'd rather go with #2). So Bah. And Bah some more.
