New Comic Day
Sep. 20th, 2006 07:35 pmThis week I got five books:
Astonishing X-Men #17 (pretty enjoyable with some great moments, although some continuity concerns)
Birds of Prey #98 (solid issue, some fun moments)
Civil War #4 (mildly enjoyable, would have been so much better if I didn't believe half the characters were replaced by evil duplicates)
Runaways #20 (good issue but didn't wow me)
X-Factor #11 (just barely my Pick of the Week, with a good ending and some interesting new additions to the mutant story)
Full reviews up as usual at my comic reviews site for anyone interested.
For lunch I had a spicy mortadella sandwich.
Work was okay. Nothing of note to report though.
Jericho (post-nuclear explosion drama) starts tonight at 8.
