No Comic Day
Jun. 20th, 2007 05:16 pmThe only thing on my maybe list was the X-Men: Endangered Species one shot, and after flipping through it in the store, didn't see anything I cared to support. It's harping on a theme that I got a little sick of before they stopped using 'Decimation' on the titles. So, this week's a skip week for comics. Though I did pick up at the used bookstore, Spin by Robert Charles Wilson, winner of the 2006 Hugo award. Cheap buy, too. So if I read all the books I've got on my to-read stack now, I'll only have 2 more Hugos to find (possibly 3 when this year's are announced).
Work wasn't bad. Actually arrived early (and as a matter of fact, it got there shortly before I did, but not dramatically so), and the load wasn't too bad, although since I didn't have any wait time it was a bit tiring - long walk to working to walk home. For lunch I had a montreal smoked meat sandwich with jalapenos.
