New Comic Day
Oct. 13th, 2004 04:06 pmThis week I got:
District X #6 (been disappointing these last couple issues)
Ex Machina #5 (not bad)
Gotham Central #24 (not bad, bit slow)
Secret War Book Three (decent, but doesn't come out often enough)
Ultimate Nightmare #3 (finally things are starting to happen.. fairly good)
Ultimate X-Men #52 (My pick of the week, quite fun)
X-Men: The End #4 (Bleh.. more like 'X-Force: the End'... didn't care for it)
Full reviews up at http://www.unreachablestar.net
At the bookstore, I picked up the Following:
Wild Cards, Book 8: One-Eyed Jacks (next in the series)
Darwin's Radio, by Greg Bear (Hugo winner)
The Last Unicorn by Peter S. Beagle (always liked the cartoon movie when I was a kid, wanted to read the book)
Also, of course I had the traditional Wednesday gyro.
