This week I got:
District X #6 (been disappointing these last couple issues)
Ex Machina #5 (not bad)
Gotham Central #24 (not bad, bit slow)
Secret War Book Three (decent, but doesn't come out often enough)
Ultimate Nightmare #3 (finally things are starting to happen.. fairly good)
Ultimate X-Men #52 (My pick of the week, quite fun)
X-Men: The End #4 (Bleh.. more like 'X-Force: the End'... didn't care for it)

At the bookstore, I picked up the Following:
Wild Cards, Book 8: One-Eyed Jacks (next in the series)
Darwin's Radio, by Greg Bear (Hugo winner)
The Last Unicorn by Peter S. Beagle (always liked the cartoon movie when I was a kid, wanted to read the book)

Also, of course I had the traditional Wednesday gyro.

Amusingly enough, I've read the book yet never seen the cartoon.

The movie's not bad, for a musical. Lovely look to the whole thing(slightly animeish looking). Some of the songs and voice acting where a bit corny at spots, (although there were a lot of 'famous names' surprisingly) but on the whole it was a charming movie.

I've intended to someday see it, but I've yet to actually do so. :)

I read it in trades, but I'm a few storylines behind still, why?

The current issue was somewhat emotionally-wrenching; wanted your opinion. ;)

Ah... well, then, don't spoil me, and I'll get back to you in a year or so maybe. ;)

Yes, I really am pretty far behind (I think the last one I read was the one with the trio of superheros that broke up... Supergroup I think the Trade may have been).
