Okay, I dreamed that there was a new episode of Lost, where they revealed the Big Mystery. The resolution was: the people were chosen to crash land on a remote island, to give humanity a fresh start because there was a plague of zombieism all over the rest of the world. They (the people who crashed the plane) figured that by the time the suvivors got off the island, the zombies would have died out from lack of any fresh brains.
