newnumber6So, in the course I'm taking, which should be the last course of the year, as I've mentioned before, my main worry has been my mark on my assignments. If you don't get a passing average on your assignments (which only make up 30% of your total mark), you fail, no matter what. I've been getting A average on the tests so far, so I'm not worried on that area of the mark... but I've always been worried about the assignments. Because I hatehatehatehatehate Eiffel, the language we're using, and can't work up the energy to do more than a half-assed job on them. The first assignment I got C... not healthy, but better than I expected. The second assignment, I was worried about, I thought I'd get C at best, significantly lower at worst. Just checked the marks online - I somehow got a B. I've done the math... what this means is that my last assignment, even if I get a 0 on it, will not make me fail. The only thing that could make me fail is a really bad exam mark, but I'm not worried on that.
So, I still have to do my last assignment. But I can do it stress free, and continue to not use my whole ass.
Oh, and in other minor points, Dream Foo (nothing interesting)...
3 lucid dreams in quick succession (sort of more like a single lucid dream with 3 'false awakenings' that I discovered'. Nothing really of interest though, most of my efforts was expended in getting out of the building before I woke up. Ah well. In one of them I did try some McDonalds Fries which were in the dream for some reason, and yes, they tasted just like reality... but with 0 fat! :)
Also had a dream where I was sitting in University, and it was the first day, people walking around... and then I saw this grey cat. It saw me and started to walk towards me, and when it reached me I let it sniff my hand and then pet it a little. Well, it was a total pet-suck, rolling onto its back and trying to get me to scritch its neck, and purring. A couple girls also came to pet it. That's about all I remember, save for one detail - the cat was very long. Not big, per se... but long... like those weinerdogs, but for a cat.
Had another dream that FOX was airing something called 'Special Basketball'. For some reason I flipped to change it, and what it was, was mentally challenged people playing basketball against a celebrity or something, with a sort of mocking tone. I was disgusted and offended at FOX, and changed the channel, but that's about all I remember before waking up.

So, I've set the date for the start of my alternaljournal to December 14th, the date of what should be my last exam ever. Has a nice symbolic meaning, allows me to work out my equipment list in advance and have a reason for everything I'm carrying. Now I just need to actually set up the journal, and do my user icons. Will probably try to do one of the 'animated slideshow of pictures with a saying' thing, maybe. Course, I suck at graphics.
So, I still have to do my last assignment. But I can do it stress free, and continue to not use my whole ass.
