Lousy (sim) Persians!

newnumber6If I've not been around lately, it's because Civilization 3 ate my brain. ;)
Here I am having a nice civilization, when the Persians, who I've been nothing but nice to (even giving them extra money) (Edit: Okay, so one of their cities decided to spontaneously secede and join my civilization, but that's hardly _my_ fault) decide to declare war on me, and getting the Romans and Germans (who I've barely had contact with) to help. Luckily, I just invented gunpowder and they don't know about it yet, so they have a surprise coming!
But lousy Persians.. I can forgive the Romans and Germans - they didn't actually betray me. But the Persians are going to have to be wiped out of existence. So far, for the most part, I haven't even been taking over their cities - just burning them to the ground. Muahahahahahaha! I'll only keep the cities that have some strategic use or join me willingly.
(For the record, I have nothing against RL Persians, or for that matter Romans or Germans. My ire is restricted to the Sim variety. ;))
