Work went surprisingly well. Not only did they arrive about an hour early, but there was only about half the normal load, so things went remarkably smoothly.
Also, the person who's working with me Wednesdays now (just started a couple weeks ago) saw me reading Wizard and Glass... he's also read the first two books in the Dark Tower and is a fan of them, and then revealed that he was a D&D geek (by asking me if I ever played it), so we chatted a bit about that (and a disastrous attempt by his GM to add Gunslingers as a class). Didn't get much reading done, but still, nice that we have something in common to chat about while waiting for the truck anyway.
