Heading to work at 6am on a Sunday the funnest thing to do, but I got used to it.

Heading to work at 6am on a Sunday when it's -20 out (-33 with windchill) raises it to a whole new dimension. Had to flag down a cab to get to work. Did work (which was a lot of going outside and inside). Then had to wait around for an hour until the busses started (read a newspaper upside down to pass the time). Then, head out to the bus stop, which is maybe a 5-10 minute walk - except I notice when I'm about 2 minutes into it I just missed the bus. So I head to the stop anyway and wait in the cold for... well, I don't know exactly how long, I imagine having your hat pulled down over your face so you can only see a tiny bit through the haze of red dots while huddling in a corner to get out of the wind might distort your sense of time. But it was a non-trivial amount of time.

Ah well, at least I'm home now.

And now I'm coughing. Yay. Time for a nice warm nap soon.
