Starting to lose memory of this already..
I was in a mall... and I saw a woman running, crying. I knew there was something wrong, so I started running after her, somehow I felt she was in danger or was about to commit suicide or something. I couldn't catch up with her directly, but as she ran into one path that obscured her from my vision, I ran ahead to the end of the path to try and intercept her... except when I got to the other end, she was gone. I was worried (and somehow in the dream I was also part cop so I had authority to look around and ask questions).
The weird part is that I started to wake up.. in fact, either I did wake up or I dreamed that I did, because I remember being in my room, and I managed to, through force of will, slip back into the dream - that almost never happens... even when I wake up and go back to sleep, usually I go into another dream. Anyway, I had to find her, and eventually I did, locating her work which was in a side room off the path she had been taken. She was more or less okay, but she'd been crying so I asked what was wrong... I can't remember exactly what it was, but I'm guessing it was that someone was after her because the next thing I remember was us going to the elevators to try to get her to safety. The 'waking-up-but-damnit-I-want-to-stick-to-the-dream' happened again, a few minutes later. I can't remember exactly where we went, and I was only with the dream a short while longer anyway before I actually did wake up.
I'm guessing the 'running around to save someone from danger' was in part due to Tru Calling being on last night.
Then there was some unrelated dream about me and someone else being threatened with our faces being held to an electric sander... only the people who were threatening us (organized crime types) couldn't find one, so they got sandpaper and told me to get it ready to use on my friend, but what I did was rub it together to break as much of the abrasions as I could so it would be as smooth and non-hurty as possible.
