So, XET seems to be getting going, if a bit slowly. Got my characters mostly plotted out.

Kirk's done. Barely had to alter him at all - just made him get his undergraduate degree, become a TA, and tell his parents he's a mutant. The power stuff I wanted for him I already apped just never got to use, so I'll start using them in game here. Some cool scooby-ish plots in store for him and he may also be more closely teaming up with the X-Men.

My Ultimates alt is still bare bones at the moment. Have some plots for him in mind, but very little work is actually done on setting up. Some fun and very bad ideas though that I've discussed with others. Sometimes I feel like if I just had a little more ambition, I could be an evil genius.

Scuzz was my hardest to get settled. I originally planned him being recruited by the mob to pull small time arson and such. But now, after thinking, I've decided to put him with the Brotherhood. Firstly because the Brotherhood needs people with him. Secondly because really Scuzz never got too much wide RP because he wasn't with a group and the only group he might have fit with he got off to a bad foot with - it was a lot of fun, but I'd like to open him up to RP opportunities that the mob just wouldn't do. So, I'm saying that during the 1 year gap, Scuzz was caught by the people trying to sacrifice mutants for the Daoloth event. The Brotherhood wound up being the people to rescue him, and maybe while he recovered he had a thing for one of the Brotherhood's lower level operatives, who happened to be immune to his touch. She still didn't want much to do with him at first, and was really into 'the cause', so that inspired him to stick around a little. In the process, Scott won his respect, and although Scuzz isn't fully into things, he's sticking around. The girl got killed on a mission (against the Karotechia maybe) - they still hadn't gone out or done anything, but she was at least warming to him a little by this time. So now he's still with the Brotherhood partly to keep getting the support (free clothes and smokes) and partly to avenge her memory, and partly because with the Brotherhood he gets to smash faces and not feel as much like a lowlife for doin' it.

I should note that for some reason I see Sawyer from Lost in my head for Scuzz now, a little anyway. For Scuzz I have to revise some traits

Anyway, still much to do for him - have to write up his official 1YG background, and tweak some of his traits. Surprisingly, I don't have to do as much psyche changes as I expected, they're already consistent with my vision of him, I just have to play him a little more mature.

Why did I always think Scuzz is a kid? I had him as the lead character in Powder in my head for some reason.

I dunno, I never saw Powder so I don't know who you're talking about. But Scuzz isn't the most mature guy in the world, and started out as a teenager. I originally had him played by Heath Ledger.
