newnumber6: Ghostly being (Default)

Okay, so, chips, I've so far managed to go down to buying chips once a month - and it was really hard because last month my local store was having a sale with the good chips being only $1 for practically the whole month - and it ended just before my monthly time came up. Ah well.

Gyros, I'm so far down to one a month as well. So far in the other months I'm buying the much cheaper cheap wednesday whoppers on Wednesdays, but I'm going to slowly try to cut down on eating out Wednesdays in general, and just get stuff at home.

Next up: Naps. I'm horribly lazy and tend to nap in the afternoon. But, in the wise words of Wash, "Sleepiness is weakness of character, ask anyone." So, I'm going to try to slowly restrict myself to naps only
on Saturdays (oh,and of course, on Sundays, because I wake up hella
early and need to catch up on the extra hours sleep right after I get home - I don't count that as the same thing as a lazyass nap though). Instead, I'm going to try to be productive in the hour or so I use to nap - I'm going to force myself to try and write for that hour. And not just [livejournal.com profile] alternaljournal writing (though I'll still keep up with that), or X-Men: End Times work like NPC OHXET entries, but actual writing of short story (or longer) style fiction again. I keep putting it off and I need to try to stop that if I'm ever going to get anything done, but for that I need time I can devote to that, and that time comes from cutting out napping, I hope. It's hard... I've tried to go cold turkey on napping before, but went back to it, so I'm going to try the gradual phase-out method again.
