Dream Foo: Lost!

newnumber6Lost related dream. I was with Charlie, and Jack, and one of the nameless 40-something others who was kind of a surfer/stoner dude.
We had found some sort of abandoned settlement hidden on the island, but there was nothing of interest except another thing that looked like it was a maintenence shaft that went deep into the ground... thinking it might have been part of the hatch, we were curious. The thing had a sign on it saying "The Pit", and "Chapin". Charlie said something about 'What would a Chaplin be doing in a pit?" and I said, "No, it's Chapin... it's probably french or some other language for 'Pit'." We couldn't find any way in, but there was a metal rod with a little indentation in it, and I saw on the corner of the door there was a little hole... so I stuck the rod's indentation in the hole and turned it, and the door opened. I remember tapping my head and saying, "See! Not just a hatrack here!" Anyway, we peeked inside and down where there was a long stairway, and some of us started shouting 'hello!'. And we started hearing footsteps, and seeing someone climbing the stairs. It wasn't anyone we knew, and they didn't look concerned or happy to see us or anything, or even actually looka t us... we just saw the top of his hat and the bottom of his chin, and there was something disturbing about him, so we decided to run, and run we did, into and through some of the buildings in the abandoned settlement. We kept looking back to see if he'd caught us yet, because I guess he also picked up speed.. he was always just behind us so when we turned a corner, he was able to see which corner we turned. Somehow, we got confused and got caught... and then we were back at the Pit again, and he was coming up again, like we'd died and reset back to the beginning of the level in a video game... except this time Surfer/Stoner guy was gone. This time, instead of heading through the buildings, we headed out in between the buildings rather than in them. There were other people lurking about, but for some reason we thought we were the only ones who the killer Pit man wanted because we opened the door, and he was looking for three people, so we figured we could fool him by splitting up some and walking as though we're independent and not running, so Charlie and Jack walked up ahead while I lagged behind. We thought we were safe but then suddenly there was a huge swarm of identically dressed people coming out of the spaces in between buildings (sort of like an army of Mister Smith's) to surround us. They said something about not escaping the forces of Mortality, and then closed in on us, and that's when I woke up.
Also had another dream that, at the time, I thought was kinda cool, but I can't remember it now. I think it might have involved aliens.
