newnumber6Another Dream Filled Night! Alien bugs, Buffy kisses Antlerman, Odd Celebrity Encounter, and Stuck when History changed!
First dream, I was living on a Mars colony. Some of the others there had gone out on a survey or something so it was just me and a couple others there. Then the power went out.. we weren't dead, but if we didn't get it (a nuclear power generator, no less) back online, we'd freeze to death before the others got back. So we went out and looked, and made progress but along the way lost our tools.. I eventually found them down a hole in the ice but it was hard to reach and needed someone's help to study them.. I got one out, but another I reached for and I saw something grab it back. It was like a little tiny hand. I went in and got an icepack, and came back with it, and started chipping away at the ice, and found that just underneath a layer of ice was this huge mass of alien bugs, and what looked like egg cases for even more. It was disgusting and freaky. I figured exposing them to the air would freeze them all though. Don't know if it would have succeeded, woke up.
Next dream, I was watching an episode of Buffy... it was some sort of 'love spell' episode, but it wasn't any particular one and contained scenes I'd never seen before... including one where Spike walks in and sees Buffy kissing Antlerman (well, either Antlerman or the same Chaos demon who Dru cheated on him with, since they look the same to me. ;)). That's about all I remember of that one.
Edit: Hehehehe, I just realized - even in the dream, Antlerman got all the action. ;)
Next dream, I was on the bus, talking to my brother, and I noticed my boss was on the bus... except I don't like my work and non-work life to collide, so I was getting freaked because my brother didn't know my boss, and was talking about hobbies and such loud enough that he could hear, and eventually he cut in and asked what it was we were talking about. I tried to make up some excuse. Then, suddenly, we were in the bosses car, he was giving me a ride to work (no, I don't know why he was riding the bus if he had a car), except he wanted to make a stop first, and pulled into a movie studio that's near there, and we picked up a bunch of people who apparently worked there and knew him. Only one was of any familiarity to me (she was in the show Just Shoot Me.. not the main character, but the other woman in it), and I just remembered she was even more unpleasant in person than her character. But that's about it for that dream.
Finally, I had another 'back in high school' dream. Except in this one history had changed and somehow I was the only one to notice the difference. During lunch break I went to my locker and had planned on finding the science teacher so I could try to figure out what had happened and have it reversed (he had walked by carrying some weird jello-looking thing, I don't know what that was about). Except my lock on my locker broke, and I had stuff in there that I couldn't let anyone get (which is a little odd, because for most of my high school career I never even had a locker- I found no use for it because I just carried everything I needed around anyway, and thought it was much symbolically cleaner that on the last day I didn't have to 'clean out my locker' or any junk like that, I just had to grab my bag and walk away). I don't remember what the stuff was - maybe proof about the change in history. Anyway, I tried to fix my locker so that people couldn't just break in when I was gone, but I was having no luck, the locks were really weird. Finally, someone I recognized came by (the only person I actually recognized both in and out of the dream - although there were a few 'oh, yeah, you're my friend' people in the dream, but I don't know them in real life... this is the only person I actually knew, a girl who sat n front of me in Grade 11 bio. She used to tease me some because I was easy to get flustered, and she'd drag me and another girl from that class to lunch with her. I never actually had a crush on her during the time, although I did have a short retro-crush a couple years later, which was pretty odd considering at that point I'd never seen her... anyway, that's really off topic)... and I asked her what time it was, and found that lunch was almost over, there were only a few minutes left. I was going to have to wait to talk to the science teacher about history being changed, but I needed to handle the lock problem... finally, I figured it out, and it was actually an easy fix once you learned how to do it. Except time was up. A semi-teacher came by (I don't think he was an actual teacher but I can't explain his role since I don't think it actually exists even though it made perfect sense in the dream), and was going to tell me to go to class but I bribed him with raw material for erasers which for some reason he seemed to love, and he agreed to watch my locker for me and then I even got him to promise to fix my lock.
