I have just discovered that there's an exception to the Schmule Rule! As we all know, any arguement can be instantly refuted by repeating one key point of it, then repeating it again with the first letter replaced by 'Schm'. For example: "I think taxes are too high." "High, Schmigh." (Or, alternatively, Taxes, Schmaxes'). "Going to college is important." "College, Schmollege." There's no rebuttal to it, you've instantly won the arguement. However, you can't do it in this case (this is a textual-only loophole - you can still use the Schmule on it if you speak it out loud): "Just look at the schematics." "Schematics, Schmatics." See, it doesn't work, it looks like the same word.

I've been drowning in nostalgia a bit. All started when LJ added 'schools' to their Userinfo page, which made me try to track down my old schools. None of them (except the university) were listed yet, but I did some old searching and found ratemyteachers.com listings for some of my old schools. Some of my old teachers were still listed, with comments from other students. So I spent an hour or so looking them over, and thinking of old times. Of course a few of the ones I remember weren't listed at all, I wonder if they moved to different schools, retired, or quit teaching because of us, or something.

Had a good Scuzz scene the other day. He had to be a real jerk and pretty harsh, which doesn't come natural, but it was fun to play through anyway. The Log (entitled 'Don't You (Forget About Me)').
