newnumber6Had a number of dreams. I think there were four, but only three come to mind right now. Oh, and these dreams contain big Serenity spoilers, because one of the dreams was about seeing Serenity 2.
The first one I remember was a dream about a movie, first with a movie trailer and then the dream sort of went into the movie itself. The idea was about some criminal evil mastermind who was forcing people all over the place to do certain tasks under threat of death, in sorta a Saw-like way - not exactly (since Saw was about forcing them to damage themselves or others in order to survive), but with the same sort of fiendish intelligence, where there was no way out except by following his instructions. The thing was, all the tasks he was getting people to perform were segments of a huge master-plan nobody figured out. It was the sort of thing where someone was threatened into death saying 'Okay, you have to cause a short circuit in your home', where it might not seem like it had any affect at all, but when you put it together with everything else he did suddenly the crown jewels were undefended at a critical time or something.
Anyway, first up was a trailer about one group who couldn't do what they were told by the rules they were told, so they creatively improvised a solution... I can't remember exactly, it involved cutting up their clothes and getting something from the seams. Anyway, insane mastermind seemingly let them go, but then when they thought they were okay, his voice (carried over a radio or something) said, "oh, by the way, although you were very clever to think of another way to do what I wanted, you still didn't follow the rules, and there's no cheating, so I can't leave you alive." And a basketball crashed through the window. It didn't seem like much, but it had a powerful neurotoxin all over it so if you just touched it you'd die.
Then came the part that I was actually in, where two people were in a kitchen (with one person coming later) and we were supposed to connect some device to the inside of a lightbulb socket with a metal wire that would overload things and knock out the power to the house. Except, the way it was set up, it would also probably electrocute whoever it was to hold it, and if neither of us would hold it, the mastermind would kill all of us. So we went for a walk trying to figure out a way out of it, and when we came back the third person had shown up. It was Starfire, from Teen Titans. So we talked and then agreed that she should do it because she's the only one who was probably immune to the electrocution. So she did, but she faked dying anyway in case mastermind was listening. That's about all I remember.
As mentioned above, one of the dreams was about seeing Serenity 2. I don't remember too much about it, it took a while to introduce the main characters this time, and much of the early part of it was about a new character they were trying to introduce to being a new pilot character (despite the fact that the movie already set up a replacement pilot). Wash was there, though, which made me wonder if they were setting her up as a flashback, trying to show that she knew the crew from before, even though she was going to be joining them in this movie. Sorry, nothing all that spectacular. I shamelessly teased dreaming seeing Serenity 2 before the cut and that's all there was. ;)
The last dream I remember was one of those 'Back to School' dreams, where it was the first day of a new term and I was going to school and went to one of my classes... it was a history class, and surprise, one of my old friends from Grade 6 or so was there, and I sat right in front of him. And off to the side was a girl I had a crush on in grade 11. And Friend-From-Grade 6 said that someone else I should have known was there was also in this class, just not there yet, someone named Lauren, but I didn't remember the name and said I'd probably have to see their face.
I think the class was taught by my junior high school history teacher. Anyway, I was talking to friend-from-grade-6 and since class was about to start we couldn't really catch up, but I asked him what period he had off for lunch, and then checked my own schedule... only to find I wasn't actually in that class to begin with - it was Monday, and I had that class on Tuesdays and Thursdays. I was pretty bummed out, and left all embarassed like and tried to find my class until I woke up.
