Dream Foo (#2 in a roo... er, row)

Wow, more alien dreams. Wonder what's up with that?
Anyway, this time I dreamed that aliens landed all over earth. And their ships were making loud noises, but the kind that were designed to get attention, like marches and stuff. And when people showed up, nothing happened, they just sat there, doing nothing. At one point someone tried to blow one of the ships up or something and died. We all went home, and then later it started making noise again so we all came back. This time, when we got there, there was some kind of voice, but different people we later learned heard different things.
Most people heard just a sort of generic 'hi there, we'll be living here from now on, but don't worry, we won't leave our ships' type message. I heard 'You who are hearing this are being selected to come in and receive some of our new technologies, a little at a time, to slowly get mankind acquainted to them. They're pretty much all like advanced household conveniences'
I didn't actually get a chance to go in and get any, though, cause I woke up. Damn reality!

My Grandmother (random thoughts)

Today was my Grandmother's birthday. She turned 79 today. We went over there and had lots of pizza, and a lot of my relatives showed up to say hi. (Except for my two aunts who went off on a trip that she was supposed to go on, but they didn't manage to get her ticket. :P). Anyway, I thought I'd dedicate an entry a little to my grandmother.
