Yay me, I guess.
Feb. 4th, 2005 08:34 amJust realized today. It's been about 6 months since I started exercising regularly for the first time in my life. At least 3 days a week (and sometimes up to 5), and, except for one week when I was both sick and sore, never skipping.
For me, who has trouble sticking with anything, this is quite an accomplishment. Oh, really, it's not much - right now I'm up to 200 crunches, 100 pushups (20 of them being on fists instead of palms), 100 leg lifts each day, plus some jogging on the way to work on Sunday mornings (and of course I do get a bit of lifting exercise at work). Not too much, and could be pushing myself more, but again, for me, wow. Although I do think I look and feel better than when I started, not quite the results I've been hoping for in terms of _looking fit_. But hey, I've kept at it this long and so I'll keep at it.
If I had started this as a New Years resolution, I _know_ I would have quit by now.
