Just one book for me this week:
Daredevil #90 (Okay. That's about it, really)
Full reviews up as usual at my
comic reviews site for anyone interested.
Also, I hit the used bookstores today and picked up 5 books for $2.50:
The Stainless Steel Rat, by Harry Harrison
When Gravity Fails, by George Alec Effinger
The Year's Best Science Fiction 1975
Heechee Rendezvous, by Frederik Pohl
Morlock Night by K.W. Jeter
In another used bookstore I also finally found and picked up a copy of Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone. Now maybe I'll be able to get what all you loony freaks are talking about sometimes. ;)
Work was okay, a bit heavier than usual, but he got there early.
I skipped lunch. I think my body is telling me to cut down on my caloric intake as I've been a bit uninterested in lunch lately. Or maybe I just need to buy better food. In any event, I listen to my body, so I skipped it, and just had a muffin at work.
Did the full circuit walk today because I just missed the bus on the way home, and when that happens it's usually quicker to just walk it.
Plus I save on busfare, which means that effectively either I got the comic or the first 5 used books for free! ;). Along the way I mostly though about the Marvel campaign I might run for my brother and his gf. Just sort of mentally throwing around ideas. Also came up with a story idea I might want to work on.
Oh, and dream foo, in which I kill someone.
