New Comic Day!
Mar. 21st, 2007 06:19 pmThis week I got five books, which is a big week for me:
Birds of Prey #104 (entertaining fun, some good job making me interested in some characters I've never encountered before)
Cable & Deadpool #38 (a little weaker than usual, and I don't think Agent X got a fair shake)
Runaways Saga (If you're planning on jumping on to Runaways once Joss Whedon starts and don't want to read the whole series, this would make a good recap of what's gone on in the series. Otherwise it's really only for Runaways completists. But yay for
irish_star for co-writing!)
Wisdom #4 (Pretty entertaining tale, interested in seeing where it goes)
X-Factor #17 (My Pick of the Week)
Full reviews up as usual at my comic reviews site for anyone interested.
Skipped lunch (but had golden grahams + cheerios + frosted flakes cereal mixed together for breakfast). Souvlaki for dinner though, soon! Work was tiring. Heavy load. But at least it was earlyish.
I saw someone drawing Captain America Fighting Iron Man on the sidewalk in chalk. Looks like it was a
copy of a specific image (I'm thinking one of the CW covers). Nice job though, and made me smile.
