New Comic Day + Work and other foo
Apr. 18th, 2007 07:06 pmThis week I got four books:
Birds of Prey #105 (solid issue)
Cable & Deadpool #39 (felt a little weak, clearing up old continuity issue and hit one of my pet peeves)
Ultimate X-Men #81 (some interesting setups for future arcs but nothing really developed enough to sink my teeth into)
X-Factor #18 (My Pick of the Week, even though it felt a little off)
Full reviews up as usual at my comic reviews site for anyone interested.
Had a hard boiled egg (leftover from easter) for lunch. For breakfast I had cereal, as sort of mueslix type thingie. Oh, and outside of Eaton's Centre they were giving away free Chicken Souvlaki dinner kits. Not ready made, sadly, but things you stick in the fridge and make really quickly for lunch or dinner. So I brought it to work, stuck it in the fridge, then brought it home, and that's what we're having for dinner. So yay, there IS such a thing as a free lunch! Or dinner. Whatever. :)
Work was bleh.
Oh, had a dream recently, cool for me because I got to be one of my favorite RPG characters.( Read more... )
Oh, and here's a surprise. Remember Dead Like Me? Among a listing of MGM's direct-to-DVD slate for the next year: 'A new film based on Showtime's supernatural series Dead Like Me, written by Steven Godchaux and directed by Stephen Herek'
