newnumber6Was all set to go to work today, woke up early, just finished showering and pretty much all but ready to go out the door... when the phone rings. The truck's there already, about an hour or so early. Unless I can make it there in 5-10 minutes (which I can't, minimum's about half an hour and that depends on good bus timing and such), then it's just going to make more sense for the manager just to do it.
So there goes $50.
Must learn how to teleport, soon. Failing that, must decide to just get there an hour early on Fridays just in case. Oh well, hopefully I'll get holiday pay for tomorrow and New Years delivery work to help compensate for the shortfall, though I was hoping for that to just be extra money. ;)
Also, now instead of hitting a mall on the way home to do the last minute shopping stuff, I actually have to make a specific trip out. Bleh. Ah well.
