Lots of mini-dreams, mostly tv inspired because obviously I'm lacking any imagination to create my own dreams. :P ;)

One was about The Office all I remember was Dwight making some comments about in D&D the best strategy was to go for the unexplored center of the map, because that's usually where the goal was (applying it to some office politics stuff). Then there was a scene of him playing D&D, Ravenloft specifically, and basically right after the 'you've arrived in this strange world of terror' type introduction, trying to go to a new land. The DM said, "Uh, you're supposed to be wanting to get home." "No, I'm going to this unexplored center area. Maybe I'll start my own domain."

Dreamed something about a world opening up immigration not just to other countries on the world, but also to other worlds. I was on some sort of committee (and eeating a plate of swiss cheese for some reason). We saw videos of people asking to immigrate. The first of them was Chewbacca. He came on, speaking in English talking about wanting to move to a new galaxy, far, far away from his other one, and finished off saying that he was a ' Son of Mogh', and suddenly I was just watching tv and smacking myself and thinking 'OMG, they did not just try to connect Star Wars and Star Trek like that' by making the Wookies the origin of the Klingons. I mean really, that's tear a whole in the universe.

I also think I dreamed I was in a few Mad TV sketches involving some sort of hospital, although I can't remember the details.

At somepoint in one of the dreams I was helping someone composing a poem but all I remember was that we couldn't use the name Martin (Marvin) because we already established we were using the name Kenneth to rhyme with Gwenyth.

Also, cool stuff from boingboing. WASPS MAKE ZOMBIE ROACHES. ZOMBIE ROACHES. It's only a matter of time before they move up to people and you see zombies stumbling around with hives of wasps on the back of their neck.

Anyway, off to work.

Is that the US version of the Office? It didn't get much of a run here in Oz, but the British orginal "Office" is probably in my top 3 Tv shows EVER! David Brent-legend!!!

The US one. Never seen the other one. I enjoy the US one enough to keep watching it anyway so long as nothing else is on.

OK...you are in Canada right? You should try to hop on the British version-it *REALLY* is classic. Do you have UK TV or something? You would prob find it on that...I say this only because the US version was universally panned, whilst the British original is lauded as one of the greatest comedy series of all time. :-)

I don't get any UK channels (there's one on a separate tier I think but I'm not interested in paying extra for it and have no idea if it's even there). If I ever come across it I'll probably check it out, but comedies, no matter how funny, generally aren't the kind of thing I go and seek out, I just find them and enjoy them if they happen to be on.
