Two dreams, both with a similar thread of acting. There's a part of me that always wanted to pursue acting, but seeing as how any form of public performance scares the hell out of me, it's nothing I could pursue. anyway, on to the dreams...
In the first, some bizarre combination of my high school drama teacher and the manager at my work had a sideline of producing plays and movies based on comic books. I heard he was doing both a play and a movie based on Watchmen, so for some reason I gathered up my will and went to him at work(on the way in, I passed by XET's Storm, who was auditioning for a role as Storm, replacing Halle Berry, in X3... she thought she did okay but had to wait till they called to see for sure) and asked if he had a Rorshach yet.. since I was relatively short as him, and could do a monotone real well, and wasn't all that attractive, I might be perfect. Since it was one of the leads, he asked me if I was sure I was up to it, and I said yes. I suppose the mask woulda helped in that case. So he said he'd give me a chance. I don't know if it was to be the movie or the play version, but still, it was okay.
The other was weird and slightly more varied, it was some weird school program, like a live-in summer school where you pretty well sat in your computer, in a row with other people, for most of the time, except for assignments, which included weird things like group acting assignments. I was in a group with a cute girl that I considered trying to ask out but I never managed it. Also, the teacher was apparently grooming us for a big production in a theatre, where we'd all have to sing. I told him I couldn't sing and he sort of dismissed it as nonsense and said we'd all have to anyway (and gave some statistical example of how few people shouldn't be able to sing). Oh, and I accidentally broke the printer that was connected to the computer.
