List your six favorite TV shows. If you're doing this meme, jot down our list before reading the questions behind the cut:

(Personal note: I'm only choosing shows that are currently ongoing, and Firefly, which is eternal. Well, really, Firefly because it had a movie in the past year. I do this to narrow the list down because I have too many favorites to list... really, I'm sure I'm missing something I consider a favorite right now. I'm also putting it in a completely random order (really, I used a random number generator and everything), because I have trouble ranking)
1. Grey's Anatomy
2. Firefly
3. Battlestar Galactica
4. Lost
5. Stargate SG1 and Stargate Atlantis (I'm counting them as one show,
since they're the same continuity)
6. Dead Zone

Questions about your favorite shows behind the cut...

1. Who is your favorite character from #2?
Don't ask me to choose, please, don't ask me to choose! I guess I'll say Mal. Because he rocks.

2. Who is your least favorite character from #4?
Hmmm... there are a few I don't care for particular... I'm not big on Jack, Charlie, Kate, or Michael all that much. Let's go with Jack.

3. What would a crossover between #1 and #5 include?
Well, that's pretty messed up. I'm guessing something alienish would have to come to the hospital. Despite the fact the Goa'uld aren't really too much a factor anymore, I'll say that a Goa'uld spy operating on Earth is injured in an accident and brought to the hospital. In surgery they all go eeek, wtf when they find there's a snake in this guy's head. The patient dies on the table and OMG THE SNAKE GOES INTO MEREDETH MAKING HER EVEN MORE EVIL THAN SHE ALREADY IS. Then Meredeth unleashes the evil Goa'uld plot and SG-1 has to lock down the hospital while they find who's infested and try to stop the plot, all with the help of the Grey's Anatomy cast. Oh, and Meredeth dies at the end. Muahahahaha. ;)

Oh, and George demonstrates a superior ability to deal with weird medical science and gets an open invitation to continue his internship at Stargate command's medical program, cause he rocks!

4. Who is your favorite ship from #6?

I don't really ship for this show. I guess Walt and Sarah because its kinda an awkward situation, them marrying while Johnny was in his coma, and they're all pretty much handling it like adults.

5. If you were to set one person from #3 and one person from #6 on a blind date, who would they be?

Johnny Smith and Boomer, because woo, visions from Cylons gotta be cool! I don't think any natural pairings really present themselves, though.

6. If you could meet one person from #4 and spend the day with them, who would it be, and what would you do?
Hurley and talking comics and playing video games, probably. Assuming it wasn't on the island.

If it was on the island, then Sayid and exploring the island.

7. If you could change one thing about #2's plotline, what would you change?
It wouldn't be cancelled. Yeah, I know that's a lame answer, but I like the show pretty much as it is.

Well, okay, I lie. I'd change one thing, although it's not so much about the plotline.

I still think Firefly works best as taking place in a multiple star system civilization, with slow FTL travel - not enough that anyone could really go exploring, but enough to make a cluster of relatively nearby stars navigable.

8. Explain a relationship between two people (not necessarily romantic) from show #5, and why you like the relationship between them.
Stargate, huh... it's not really a factor anymore, but I always sort of liked Daniel and Jack's banter together... they're both very different people with different outlooks on life, but you could tell there was respect and real friendship there. If I had to go with the relationships on the show now... Although I like the original batch of characters more still, this is about relationships, so I'd go with Daniel and Vala.

I left out Atlantis because none of the relationships stand out for me terribly much, although, despite being on different shows, Rodney/Sam have a good dynamic too.

9. If the lead title characters (first name in the credits) from #1 and #3 were both drowning, and you could only save one, who would it be?
Oh, this is easy, I'd save whoever's the first name in credits of BSG over evil-Meredeth. ;). Probably Commander Adama.

10. If you could change the title characters' order in the credits for #4, what order would you choose?
I don't really know the credit order for Lost. I think it's alphabetical. So I wouldn't, because alphabetical is a fair way to do it, IMHO. If it's not alphabetical, I'd change it that way.

11. If you were able to add a new character, any kind of character you wanted, to the storyline for #6, what would the character be like and what would their role be?
Hmmm.. you know, for most other shows this would be an easy answer, but not this one. This one I don't have a particular opinion. So I'm going to go for 'out there' and say a person who's a 'walk-in' from the Dark Tower Universe. Not actually a gunslinger, but one from his world. Why? Just to establish it all as being part of the DT multiverse. ;)

12. What happens in your favorite episode of show #2?
I kind of go back and forth between Objects in Space, in which a bounty hunter secretly boards the ship looking for River, and she turns the tables on him, and the funniest of the lot, Our Mrs. Reynolds, where the Captain discovers, as payment for a job, he's got a bride.

13. If you could kill off one of the characters of #1, who would it be and how would you do it?

I'm beginning to sound like a broken record here, but Meredeth. In a outbreak of zombies.

14. If you got the chance to visit the set for either show #3 or show #5, which would you choose?
Tough call, but I'd go with Stargate. Even though BSG might be a better show at this moment, I've got more pleasant memories with the Stargate universe and would love to see the gate, plus the cast is much more familiar to me.

15. If you could date anyone from any of these shows, which show and which person?
I refuse to answer this question on the grounds my brain might explode from possibilities.

Actually, really the only options come from Firefly, so I'd have to go with Kaylee. She's so sweet.

About question 7 - I'm so with you. That's my personal fanwank. I don't pay attention to Joss when he starts talking science and just figure out what works best in my head. *grin* Cause the man really can't do the science.

And yeah, Admiral Adama is first in the BSG credits (I had to look it up for mine) ;)

Yeah, I always say that I tend to give every show one big flub as a freebie... most shows use it up on 'sound in space', but Firefly got that one right so the freebie gets expended on the 'one star system' flub. :)

Definitely can give Firefly a pass on it - especially for getting the noise in space thing right. That's really what hooked me on the show. :-D I still think Joss is basically crap on science though. ;) The man's a writer for a reason.
