New Comic Day + Work Foo + Walk Foo

This week I got 6 books and a promo item:
Cable & Deadpool #30 (good, fun issue)
Civil War #3 (not as much interest as previous issues and the
flaws of CW as an event show more as a consequence)
Daily Bugle Civil War Newspaper Special (fun but really just a promo
piece)
New X-Men #28 (better than recent issues of the title, but I think
I'm going to drop the title anyway)
Runaways #18 (NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! But it's my Pick of the Week)
Ultimate X-Men #72 (Solid issue, doing X-Men superheroics well)
X-Factor #9 (sets up some really cool stuff for the future of the
series, art's a little inconsistent though)
Full reviews at my comic reviews site.
For lunch had a pizza pop again mainly because I discovered too late that we were out of sandwich meat.
Work was bleh, but there was some Social Interaction which was pleasant. Even accomplished some light good natured teasing with Pink Girl.
Oh, and for the first time I walked from home to the comic shop, then from comic shop to work. Only took the bus to go home, which puts me down to one bus ride a week barring special occasions. Walk took about 2 hours all in all, not including time spent in stores along the way.
Not really that much longer than walking to work and then walking back, really, but still, it's more than usual and got me tired. And hot. It wasn't the hottest day but then I didn't take the OSP (Optimal Shadowed Path) like I could have. I think I could do it weekly though, which is good. It's a nice walk, some nice views over bridges and such, and it makes me feel good about myself. Well, the part of myself that walks. The parts of myself that has no ambition and has trouble interacting with people on a social level, them I'm still not all that thrilled with. But I can walk for 2 hours at a stretch without, really, any discomfort beyond simple tiredness.
Plus, hey, it's training for when I finally take The Long Walk and leave civilized life behind.
Anyway, just about time to watch Veronica Mars reruns.
Edit: Okay, today I bought some chips to enjoy during VM and to help comfort me for the Runaways death. I decided to try a new flavour, Miss Vickie's "Roasted Red Pepper Grill" chips.
DO NOT BE DECEIVED. THESE CHIPS ARE BBQ CHIPS.
Now, I like BBQ, and they're a good flavour of them, but they are not a new flavour and Miss Vickie needs to get kicked in the corporate nads (yes, Miss Vickie is theoretically female but I have doubts of her existence and the nads are metaphorical anyway) for suggesting otherwise.
