New Comic Day!

This week I just got one book:
Wisdom #5 (My Pick of the Week by default, bit of a shame this probably won't be going to an ongoing)
Full reviews up as usual at my comic reviews site for anyone interested.
I also picked up Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire by JK Rowling at the used bookstore (I couldn't pass up the price), and finally picked up Rainbow's End by Vernor Vinge in paperback. Non used.
Of course, Harry Potter, in addition to being the next book in the series I need to read, is also the book that won a Hugo award. So, once I read it I theoretically could stop, though I'll probably continue... despite not quite feeling all the hype yet, it's still mildly enjoyable and is part of the cultural landscape. But the most important thing? After I read this and The Forever Machine? I'll only have to find Cyteen and read that before I'll have read every single Hugo award winning novel prior to 2004. Very close to just having to keep up with the new ones. Yay me.
Anyway, skipping lunch, but for breakfast I had Honey Nut Cheeri-os. Although they didn't seem particularly cheery. It seemed like they might have had something on their mind. Perhaps it was their impending digestion.
Work kinda sucked. A bit late and heavy load with lots of heavy stuff, so was tired when I got home. And, I got home to find out I had no net access.
