New Comic Day!
May. 9th, 2007 06:14 pmThis week I just got one book:
New X-Men #38 (enjoyable, but aspects of it remind me of why I dropped it)
Full reviews up as usual at my comic reviews site for anyone interested.
Work was bleh. Heavy load, and I was tired from walking and the walk home was hell because one of my feet/ankles was sore. But I made it. Had an interesting story seed idea too.
On the way to work, I saw a girl sitting on the sidewalk, reading a book. As is my tendency, I took a glance to see what it was... turns out, it was Endymion, one I'd just finished reading. And she was semi-cute, too. Alas, I am a coward when it comes to social interactions, as you all know. Were I not, I might have attempted to start a conversation, or at least say something along the lines of 'good book' in passing. Instead I simply moved on.
Oh, and for breakfast, I had chicken fingers (with chipotle, honey, and plum sauce), asparagus, and creamy bacon carbonara noodles.
