Back... well, back an hour ago, but after eating and checking messages in various places, able to post. Nothing really all that interesting to report. On the way home, just as I got up for my stop, realized that just across from me on the subway was someone from where I worked over the summer. She must have been sitting there for some time, 15-20 minutes, since she goes to the same school, but I had my nose buried in a book (see last entry) so I hadn't noticed. We exchanged a few pleasantries but it was my stop and the subway noise was loud, so it really wasn't possible to talk about much.

So that, and that alone, prevented me from spending an entire day without speaking a word outloud to another human being. Yay for non-complete social isolation. ;)
