New Comic Day + Halloween Foo

This week I only got one book:
New X-Men #43 (better than the last issue, and some genuine laughs here)
Full reviews up as usual at my comic reviews site for anyone interested.
Work was okay, though a bit later than I'd like. Ah well.
Did the long walk home, which helped me sort out a bit of starting plot for the NaNo. Though I was a little disappointed to see very little halloween spirit. There were a few people in costume, but not very many. And in the walk home I walked past kids getting out of school too - the proportions were higher, but not super high.
As for myself? I went as an undercover ninja, and part time zombie-slayer. Which meant I didn't wear a costume. I did however have an old plastic zombie-hand prop and put it in my bag such that the fingers were coming out of a zippered pocket. So at least I did something to show my Halloween Spirit.
If I had any skill at makeup and didn't shun contact with people I don't know, I would have set up a street stand to zombify people for a small fee (to cover costs), just to correct the problem, but alas, neither of the prerequisites were true. Also presumably I would have had to get a license or something.
