but just in case, there's another spambot going around picking up on LJ. So if you get an IM with something to the effect of "Your friends only posts have been stolen" and a link, don't click on the link, it's full of mal/spyware.

You also might be connected to somebody else who is a victim of the same bot, thinking you're the one who sent the link.

I've had both ends happen to me today at two different times.

Of course, I don't have any friends only posts, so I knew it was bull right off the bat.
