Haven't done one of these in a while, and don't remember ever doing these particular questions, so what the hell. Stolen from [ profile] angelophile...

What's the last thing you did, where you technically broke the law?

Jaywalking, I think. Crossing against the lights is still illegal even if it's early in the morning and there's no traffic, right? Or if "copyright infringement" counts as 'against the law' (since I think it's just a civil tort), I probably committed that... not through only deliberate action, but I'm sure at some point during the day, like everybody else, I copied a copywritten image onto my computer without permission (if only for a temporary directory) just in the course of browsing the internet.

If not, it was probably the hobo I killed just before crossing against the lights early in the morning on my way home to check the internet to see if it made the news.

Have you ever cried so much you just couldn't cry anymore after that certain point?
Probably, but not since I was very young. I am now manly and do not shed tears.

Is there any television series that you've been meaning to catch up on, which one?
Hmmm... not really. Pushing Daisies, I guess - I haven't gotten around to seeing the very last episodes that aired a couple weeks back.

When's the last time you went swimming?
Probably about 10 years ago

Where were you the last time you saw someone you thought was super cute?
Hmmmm... if we don't count TV/internet, or people who I think are supercute but I see on a semi-regular basis (that is, a couple of work girls), probably friday on the way home from work, saw a supercute girl on the way.

Can you name off the people who you've seen today (that you know of course)?
I'm not good with names.

How often do you wake up to having unread text messages?
Never. This probably relates to my not having a cell-phone. Although I suppose it's possible I have a mysterious stash of text messages and people waiting to get in touch with me that I'm completely ignorant of.

Is there anyone you wish you could be spending your time with right now?
Not especially, at least not in terms of specific people.

What's one thing you're especially excited for about summer '09?
The end. Not a big summer person. Too hot. Spring and fall are better.

I guess to a very, very, very, limited extent, Big Brother is my one reality TV show guilty pleasure that I kinda look forward to in Summer (and it knows its place, airing when everything else is gone).

And I always kinda like hearing comic convention news. Oh, and speaking of comics, I guess the new Runaways creative team (debuting this week) counts, although it's wary-excitement.

Are you any good at writing, as in short stories poems and such?

Probably not, but I keep trying anyway.

Think back to the last time you cooked for someone else, what had you made?
I barely cook for myself. Cooking for somebody else would just be mean.

Was the last kiss you received, a kiss on the lips or a kiss on the cheek?

How much does it take for you too cry?
I'm a very manly man, and so I never cry.

Do you think you'll have a good day tomorrow?
I think I'll have a day tomorrow. Let's leave it at that.

When was the last time you saw your best friend?
I don't really like the idea of 'best' friends. I also don't really have many friends in general, aside from internet friends and family. But I don't like ranking people. It fundamentally bothers me. The last person I had who I did consider a specific 'best friend' (even though I had other good friends) was in Jr. High School and I last saw him... about 10 years ago? Talked to him on facebook a bit since, but been a while since I actually saw him.

Who was the last person to make you laugh?
The internet?

Which do you think is worse: not caring enough or caring too much?
I don't care enough to answer the question.

Are there more photos or music files on your computer?
Photos. Because I think the only music files on my computer are ones that I downloaded to break up the monotony of repeating music on Fallout 3.

Do you know anyone who drinks tea a lot?
A few people, actually.

Was the last thing you drank flavoured?
No. Unless water flavour counts as a flavour.

What was the last thing you scribbled down on a piece of paper?
Shopping list, probably.

Would you rather have a picnic at the park or on the beach?
I'd say beach.

Who wakes up in the morning first in your house?
My roommates and I are on pretty different schedules, so it depends on your definition of first. However, the definition of 'morning' pretty much guarantees it's me. Although they're up in the morning, they're usually on their way to being asleep. (On Mondays and Fridays, they're often on their way to bed just as I'm waking up).

Would you be interested in going to see a psychic?
A real psychic, maybe. A fake psychic, no, except for amusement value of trying to screw with their cold-readings. But the amusement value of that isn't enough to qualify as 'want', and I don't believe in real psychics, so, I'll say no.

When was the last time you went to a drive-in theatre, if you've ever been to one?
I was very young. I'll say more than 20 years ago. I can't remember the specific incident or movie, but I know we've been to one. Possibly while we were on vacation.

If you had to choose between a million dollars or to be able to change a regret?
Hmmm. Depends on the scope of my regret-changing. I mean, I'd like to pretty much change the course of my life from high school, in terms of cowardice and not socially advancing. However I can't think of any one specific incident I regret that would have made that much of a difference on its own. So probably the million.

Where is your boyfriend/girlfriend at the moment?

Ah, that's a very interesting question. Where are fictional, hypothetical beings at any given moment? She's probably the one who's been leaving me all those text messages I don't know about.

Have you ever slept in the same bed as your friends?
Possibly, though I can't recall a specific incident. At the same time? No.

How would you feel if you found out you had been cheated on?
Crushed. I wouldn't have thought my fictional, hypothetical girlfriend was capable. But now you've made it a hypothetical cheating on, so where does that leave me? THANKS A LOT QUESTION. YOU RUINED MY HAPPY ENTIRELY THEORETICAL RELATIONSHIP!

More seriously, probably pretty wrecked. I've always imagined that, depending on circumstances (if it was a one time thing, moment of weakness rather than an ongoing affair), I'd probably be willing to give them a single second chance. Thankfully, it's never happened to me.

Have you ever lived with a girlfriend/boyfriend?
No. Even my fictional, hypothetical girlfriend has her own place. And it's AWESOME.

Have you ever kissed your #1 on myspace?
I don't have a myspace. Or if I did, my only friend is that guy who's automatically in your friends list, so he'd probably be my #1. And no.

Do you wash your hands after using the restroom?

Of course.

If you've already graduated from high school, did you graduate with any sort of honors?

Yeah, I was on the honor roll (which I believe is technically a lower bar, percentage wise, in Canada than in the US. But then, our schools are better, so..). And the year before I left school, which was absolutely technically speaking the year I graduated (because I achieved enough credits to graduate, even though I needed more to go to University), I got 'medallion', which was a level even above Honors (I believe it was specific to either my school or a small area). I actually got a little medallion from it.

If you have younger siblings, how old were you when your siblings were born?
No younger siblings, except step-siblings which I didn't know until well after they were born.

Have you ever spilled anything on your computer?
Yes. Mostly water.

What toppings were on the last pizza you ate?
It was Crescendo Steak and Mushroom Melt pizza, so I guess mozeralla nad cheddar cheeses, mushrooms, steak, and probably onions, but I'm not 100% sure there.

Who was the last person of the opposite sex you laid in a bed with?
Can't remember. Assuming sleeping/sexual intent wasn't required, might have been something like a cousin, just lying on a bed while talking.

Where was the last place you went out to eat?
McDonalds. Sad, ain't it?

What is your favorite soda?
I don't really care for soda/pop. Mostly I drink water. Ginger Beer I guess is my favorite of the soda's though.

What color is your ceiling fan?
There's a white one in the dining room area.

Do you have Tivo?

What's the last creative thing you did?
Well, (GEEK ALERT), I've been sketching out, in detail, my plans for my Hypothetical Runaways Vol 3, if I were chosen to be the writer immediately following Whedon (completely ignoring Terry Moore's run, because I have to start somewhere). I'm doing issue-by-issue, both solicitations and full plot outlines (which cover what happens in the detail of something like a wiki entry/fan summary of an issue might, technically not writing like prose), trying to structure it with only enough stuff to fit an issue, and appropriate cliffhangers at the end of each. I've nearly done my first year's worth of plot outlines, with solicitations running well into the next, and ideas for quite a bit longer.

Yes, I'm sad. But they keep coming to me. For the record, for anyone interested, in my first year, the cast doesn't change in terms of composition, although there's a lot of internal changes to the characters and big revelations. Year 2 has some the first roster changes. Although I doubt anyone has any real interest in my ideas, once I'm done to my satisfaction, I'll probably post it to my LJ as a 'What I'd Do With' entry. I don't know if I'll post year 1 when I'm done that, and Year 2 when I'm done there, allowing me to keep pace with the real title, or just go as far as I can and then post it all as one big lump. *shrug*.

Edit: Whoops, forgot to cut. Sorry about that.
