First day of classes...

newnumber6For the term, anyway. It's my light day of the week, so I'm home already.
My first class, starting at 8:30am, was Intro to Database Systems, the calss I dropped last term cause I got a bad midterm mark. Decided to take another crack at it. This time the professor's from IBM actually rather than the school. He has a german accent, but it's understandable enough and at least it's not a monotone like the teacher last term.
My second class, immediately after it, was introduction to Computer Networks. The professor's actually someone I've had before, a few times. He looks like Malcolm MacDowell's older brother or something. He's occasionally amusing with an occasionally very dry wit and some particular quirks (for example, every class I've had with him he's pointed out how stupid it is that people refer to their PIN number, because the N means number, and sometims he's heard Personal PIN Number which is doubly ridiculous, and once he even heard someone call it a Personal PIN Identification Number, which really means Personal Personal Identification Number Identification Number).
Still, all in all, Tuesdays don't look to be too bad, I'm getting home at 1pm. Thursdays will be hellish, because after the Computer Network class I have a huge break until 7pm when I have a three hour class from hell (Software Design, I think it's called).
I'm idly considering 'auditing' some other class during the break, a class I'm not signed up for and have no intention of signing up for, just for interest's sake, something like a psychology class. Never done that before. We'll see.
