Had a couple dreams, but as happens, I could only remember the latest with much clarity. One earlier one involved getting ready to play GURPs with my Brother.
In the clearer one, though, apparently I'd died, and I was waiting in sort of the afterlife waiting room. And there were different lines for different types of people, but none of them seemed right for me. People would, once they reached the front of the line, go up to the door, put their hand up to the top where there was a slight mist of water, and wait while the guard checked their name off a list to make sure they fit into that category. So, I chose a line pretty well at random, and went to the front, and when I was second in line I heard what the line was for.
"This is for those who fought in battle in life." And I was thinking, okay, this isn't mine, this is like the Klingon afterlife)... but I was next in line, so I figured I'd take the opportunity.. when it was my turn I did my 'hand up to the mist thing while the guard checked my name, and I asked him, "Hey, what happens to you if you don't fit in any groups?" cause I realized that hey, I never really fit in anywhere in life, why would death be any different?
He didn't answer me, but, surprisingly, he told me to go through. Apparently, I was one who fought in battle, which surprised me because I couldn't remember any, and am generally pacifistic anyway. Still, I went through, and it was like a big school auditorium. I went to lok for a seat, then chose one near the very back (near, but not too near a cute girl), and waited. Then there was an announcement that we all had to move to a different auditorium, apparently because one of the other categories was full already and they needed the larger space. So we all got out and filed out, and that's about where I woke up.
